HATE IS NEVER AN OPTION–VIOLENCE SOLVES NO ISSUE ADEQUATELY-LOVE IS NOT ALWAYS PLEASANT-ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE THE PAST
Is it not funny, that the news’ market experts blame the down-turn in the market and the economy on GREED? Now where the greed originated is a real matter of discussion. Was it the investors in the market speculating to turn a profit? Was it the ceo’s who draw fantastic salaries even if they lead a company to total collapse? How about the lower level loan officers, who, because of commissions, authorized loans that never should have been given? Are the people who took out loans for mini-mansions instead of a more reasonable house?
There probably is plenty of justifiable blame to go around to more than one segment, but we really do need a reality check you know. I hate for people to lose anything, but so many of the house I see on news reports on the economy dampen my sympathy. I cannot help but think, “whatever made you feel you deserve a house of that magnitude. You had for a while what many will never be able to possess. Excuse me, but I can’t cry over you losing a crystal chandelier, when some cannot afford to move out of a house contaminated with mold.
You know to begin our reality check, we must assess our real situation. I many of us lost 1/2 of what we have, we would still be the envy of many in the world. So some of this whiney-pants complaining needs to be told to SHUT UP!!!!!!!! You need protection from the weather, a little meat and some beans, and a few sets of clothes. THE REST REALLY IS ICING–DEAL WITH IT!!! All the money that was in our economy 5 years ago is still there, it just is not available.
Now, we need to see that this could be good for our country. More than more college education, bigger houses, better highways, and retirement and insurance benefits, we need a righteous and moral fiber in our country that will not murder the unborn for the convenience of a young person who wants a college education, or time to improve their life. We need a work ethic that will allow us to do the harder stuff to earn the actual possession of physical things. We need fathers that come home to their family, love their wife, provide for their kids, and sacrifice so their kids can see what is right and how to develope character. We need to see that God may take away our blessing to wake us up to His ways so we can be truly blessed. The government may or may not be able to bail us out financially. Our military may or may not stay the strongest and best for the next 10 years. May I suggest that one instrument is a sure-fire fix for our real ailments is not economy, military, or political approach, BUT THE BENT KNEES OF A KIND PEOPLE SEEKING RIGHTEOUSNESS. Proverbs 14:34 tells us : Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.
I have another ode A POVERTY THAT’S GOOD FOR THE PEOPLE
Can’t google maps to the gates of heaven/ No scholarships to get you through the door.
The tuition, thje blood of Jesus Christ/ and the map is God’s own holy book.
Real riches can’t be hurt by inflation/Your soul is always worth the same to God.
God’s own son on Calvary/levels all while we are here below.
Let us give Him thanks for our times of trouble/for He makes us see it all as nothing.
He lifts us the humble to rule the earth/ to own realestate on one thousand hills.
I don’t have tgo worry about the market/for God’s people are provided everything (and more).
The world can’t know the riches we possess/without knowing the Christ that possesses us.
(A CHORUS)
A poverty that’s good for the people/A poverty that wakes a nation up.
A want that draws us to the father/ awakening to the things that really count.
